Commercial Intrusion and Alarm Integration Platforms: Manufacturer Guide

Intrusion systems identify events and transmit them for local or professional response. Integration with access control or video is useful only when supported panels, communication modules, licenses and response procedures are documented and tested. Fire alarm obligations are separate from commercial burglary/intrusion scope.

Coverage: Major commercial products relevant to Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic facilities. This is a manufacturer-neutral reference, not a statement that every product is available through every installer. Last editorial review: October 2026. Check manufacturer version notes and supported-device lists before purchase.

Alarm.com — Alarm.com for Business / OpenEye connections

Cloud business security ecosystem. Alarm.com for Business connects supported intrusion, access control and video functions for single and distributed businesses. Cloud administration can support users, notifications, schedules and event-linked video. The exact mix depends on the panel, service provider, subscription and camera or access ecosystem. Clarify event monitoring versus operator-verified response and which services continue when connectivity or subscriptions change.

DMP — XR Series / Virtual Keypad / Entré

Commercial burglary, access and system administration. DMP supplies commercial alarm panels and associated management, communications and access-control functions. A system can support intrusion zones, event reporting and, when specified, access control or connected applications. Evaluate the XR panel model, wired/wireless sensors, communicator and receiver requirements, Virtual Keypad or Entré features, integration with video and the monitoring provider’s supported workflows.

Ajax Systems — Ajax Hub / PRO Desktop / integrations

Wireless and hybrid intrusion system ecosystem. Ajax provides intrusion detection hubs, detectors, communications options and professional management tools for installed sites. Supported products can facilitate event monitoring, remote administration and certain integrations, but scope depends on chosen hubs, modules and product generation. Verify commercial suitability, wired versus wireless coverage, monitoring compatibility, device supervision, power contingencies and any country-specific certifications.

Manufacturer product information and current documentation.

Johnson Controls / DSC — PowerSeries Neo / PowerSeries Pro

Intrusion panels and detection. DSC intrusion products support commercial and other applications through alarm panels, keypads, contacts, motion devices and communications modules. Some generations have integrations with enterprise security platforms such as C•CURE, but published adapters often name precise supported panel versions. Confirm whether the proposed panel and integration module are supported together, and do not infer fire-alarm certification from burglary-panel capabilities.

Bosch — B Series / G Series intrusion

Commercial and institutional intrusion controls. Bosch intrusion systems are used for supervised zones, partitions, communication and associated security control tasks. Connection to third-party management platforms depends on the series and interfaces. Review sensor coverage, keypad and user operations, communications redundancy, compatibility with video or access systems, cyber hardening, monitoring acceptance and maintenance requirements.

Manufacturer product information and current documentation.

Napco Security Technologies — Gemini / commercial security panels

Burglar alarm and building security products. Napco supplies intrusion alarm panels, communicators and associated security products. Product families can be relevant to retrofit and commercial security work. Compare the installed controller, sensor compatibility, alarm communications, programming tools, end-user operation and monitoring support; the availability of integration modules is product-specific.

Manufacturer product information and current documentation.

Inovonics — EchoStream wireless alarm components

Wireless detection and integration components. Inovonics focuses on wireless sensing and signaling components used alongside supported alarm, access and other monitoring systems. It is typically a component supplier rather than a replacement for a full VMS or access platform. Confirm wireless coverage, battery maintenance, supervision intervals, receiver/interface compatibility and whether required trouble or alarm messages are passed through to the host platform.

Checks Before Specifying a Platform

Confirm exact controller and camera models, firmware and application versions, third-party connectors, licenses, event direction, monitoring responsibilities, export requirements, support terms and owner administrative access. Compare a witnessed demonstration against a written acceptance checklist. A manufacturer ecosystem listing does not guarantee interoperability between particular models.
